Adrian Forester STI Conversion

Imagine buying your car, a souped up subaru making 240kw on E85, only for it to blow up on the way home. Great. Thats the danger of having a 5 speed Subaru making some power.
Solution; get a six speed, get it installed and call it a day.

That's exactly what Adrian came to us needing, but the process was not that straight forward. Often working on cars with history, means you will come across working onto of the shoulders of businesses past and present and also the handiwork of individuals!

Adrian's car was no different, a gearbox had already been swapped into the chassis, but its install was a bit incorrect, leading to chassis damage to internal threads.

We cut into the chassis, fixing the the internal threads and making sure the box was secured in place.
Once that was sorted, we equipped his Bugeye Wagon with some new legs, a Forester STI ty856 transmission, with our FLFFYBUDGET rear end, reducing costs.

The result; a customer who wants to keep the car and enjoy it.
The result; a chassis ready to unleash 240kws everyday , all day.
